Houston METRO Police shot someone in the leg Saturday afternoon after a pedestrian stop...
on a train during a fight between two officers and the person on Saturday, according to the Houston Police Department, which is investigating the shooting.the person was taken to a hospital and their injuries do not appear to be life threatening.
It was two METRO police officers involved in the fight and shooting, but because it happened within City limits the case falls under HPD’s jurisdiction for investigation, Deese said. Deese said the interaction got intense fast, saying the person made death threats to the officers, and then a physical fight broke out between the two police and the person they stopped.
