Houston man sentenced to life in prison for the killing of a scrap-metal employee in 2018
Courtney Cortez Hall, 40, was automatically sentenced to life without the possibility of parole Friday after he was convicted of capital murder for robbing and killing 40-year-old Magdaleno Ramos on Nov. 5, 2018, at the B&M scrap-metal business along the Eastex Freeway.
Investigators with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office later received information that led to Hall’s arrest in 2020.
