Houston forecast: Highs get back into the 80s this week, some chance of storms
After a chilly weekend, Houston is set to warm up again, with highs reaching into the 80s this week,Monday is the spring equinox, kicking off the first day of astronomical spring, though temperatures will still stick to the chilly side. The weather will warm up starting Tuesday, bringing a chance for storms starting in the latter half of the week.
"Monday will be the last of the cold days," according to the WTKR-TV 13 Weather team."Monday morning will be the coldest with some areas northeast of Houston dipping below freezing."Tuesday is the first day of the warmer weather to come. A high of 74 and a low of 68 is expected, forecasters said. The weather service forecasts clouds throughout the day and a possible chance of isolated showers.
