Houston designer Danny Nguyen opens boba shop, then steps back into the fashion-show arena
He refocused and pivoted. In January, he opened Boba House tea shop, 8302 N. Eldridge Parkway. He also returned to show his women's collection at New York Fashion Week in February.
Nguyen will present a collection, inspired by Japan, at the"A Night in Paris" fashion show at 3 p.m. Saturday at Bell Tower in the Heights. Also featured is Houston-native New York designer Cesar Galindo.Nguyen said his latest designs are based on Neo-futurism, or Neo futo, a Japanese movement in art, design and architecture.
Nestled in a strip center just south of Beltway 8, Nguyen has been in business for 15 years, offering men’s suits and women’s party wear, along with his custom bridal designs.
