House of the Dragon, in a period of civil war between the Targaryen family, it's no surprise that a lot of people know what happens to our beloved characters from this new prequel series.First, during Season 5, Shireen Baratheon tells Ser Davos Seaworth about how she's reading a story about The Dance of Dragons, aka the civil war between Rhaenyra and Aegon II Targaryen.
In Season 7, while standing in the dragon pit, Daenerys Targaryen references how this is where the"end" of her family began, which is a nod to the dragon pit being the place where Aegon II was crowned as king following Viserys's death.In Season 2, Tywin Lannister talks about how Harrenhal was known as"the greatest fortress ever built" until"dragons happened," and he mentions how Harren and his sons were burned alive inside.
