Two days have passed since the Old Firm blockbuster at Ibrox but there's no sign of the fallout going away as Fraser Wilson mans the phones.
Rangers players might fancy swapping boots for flippers ahead of tomorrow’s game at rain soaked Dens Park. But it’s the diving storm surrounding Fabio Silva after Sunday’s Old Firm clash that continues to swamp the Hotline.
Andy Lanigan, Glasgow, claimed: “Silva would have got to the ball after being tackled but for Johnston's foul and let's look at a staggering 23 fouls committed by Celtic, which should have resulted in at least two players being red carded. It was Rangers poorest show of the season and we still got a draw.”
Tam Williamson, Lanarkshire , said: “It's astonishing that a natural born diver like Silva, who should have been red carded, is in fact rewarded with a penalty. It makes a mockery of fairness and honesty. As for John Beaton he is now guaranteed his picture in the Ibrox Hall of Fame.” And Douglas McFadzean emailed: “Rangers clearly believe they got another Neymar with Silva. The theatrical movement is spot on, pity about the talent.
Alan Flett emailed: “We were poor first half and gifted them a two goal lead. They couldn’t live with us second half and the turning point was Dessers’ disallowed goal. For the third Old Firm game in a row a poor refereeing decision has saved Celtic. If that goal had stood we would of gone on to win comfortably.”
