A hot air balloon landing resulted in a huge emergency services response after reports it had crashed.
Witnesses said firefighters and paramedics rushed to Wardley Industrial Estate, in Salford, on Saturday afternoon following reports the balloon had crash-landed. Pictures from the scene show a deflated blue and yellow balloon, wedged up against the back of an industrial unit - reports Manchester Evening News. The occupants of the balloon were checked over to make sure they were safe. The spokesperson added: "Just before 1pm this afternoon, four fire engines from Agecroft, Eccles and Farnworth fire station along with the Technical Response Unit from Leigh and Command Support Unit from Atherton were called to reports of a hot-air balloon landing in an industrial estate on Priestly Road, Worsley.
