Hang Seng surges more than 3%
In Monday morning trading in Hong Kong, the city’s Hang Seng Index surged 3.2%. Stock gauges in Shanghai, South Korea and Japan rose 1.1% to 2.0%. Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 added 0.8%.
