Local property developer Rhian, who bought the home for £101,000, didn't notice the feature at the time. Before buying the property, she gave it a thorough look and spotted damp, missing roof tiles and wall ties that needed attention. Rhian estimated a three month time scale for the renovation. She had a budget of between £14,000 to £19,000. The programme returned in four months and the once tired looking house is now unrecognisable.
