The incident occurred at the First Presbyterian Church on Grove Way
Authorities in Castro Valley are on the lookout for aThe incident occurred at the First Presbyterian Church at 2940 Grove Way at approximately 7:25 p.m. Saturday. After hitting the elderly woman, the driver then fled westbound on Grove Way toward Redwood Road.
The Alameda County Sheriff’s Office says the driver first brushed up against the woman. After a shouting match, the driver then drove back around and intentionally hit the woman. The woman hit the hood of the car before falling on the ground and was later transported to the hospital. Anyone with information about the incident can reach the sheriff’s office at 510-667-7721 or leave a message on an anonymous tip line at 510-667-3622.
