will air on Saturday, November 11 in observance of the holiday. Hosted by Navy veteran Remi Adeleke and executive produced by Pro Football Hall of Famer Peyton Manning, the special is expected to feature appearances from both Manning as well as pro skater Tony Hawk .
The special will provide an “immersive” look at the U.S. military, according to the History channel. The two episodes will include archival footage, insightful interviews with active-duty military members, renowned experts, and historians — all of which will help Adeleke dive into crucial moments in the history of the U.S. Army Special Forces, as well as Marine and Naval Aviation.
In the second hour, Adeleke heads to Army Special Operations Forces headquarters at Fort Liberty, NC. Once there, he is introduced to the rigorous training pipeline, beginning with the Nasty Nick Obstacle Course, where he learns firsthand what it takes to become part of one of the most elite and agile military groups in the world.
Banks Tarver, Ken Druckerman, Anneka Jones and Divya Chungi serve as executive producers for Left/Right.
