Montgomery, Alabama
The Carver Wolverines welcome their new Head Coach Bobby Carr and they look to build off of their 7-4 season from a year ago. Carr is going into his 29th year of coaching this year and inherits a Carver roster that is loaded down with talent.
Before coming to Carver, Carr had spent many years coaching in the Montgomery area, he’s also spent time in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and most recently at Elberta High School last year. “He brought a lot of discipline to the program. I mean we’ve just been coming in and working hard and doing what he says and he’s just putting us on the right track to win games,” says Rogers.
“You know I think these kids have known each other, a lot of them played together in middle school or even little league. So, they are really excited for the opportunity to play together and we’ve got a chance to be really really great. There’s not been one issue and I think the adults in the area could probably learn a lot from the kids on this team.
