There's nothing like a pleasant dog walk, but sometimes it can get a little boring taking your dog to the local park all the time.
Described as an 'exciting but peaceful ancient woodland' by Woodland Trust, Dibbinsdale Nature Reserve is one of those places that you'll miss if you blink. The car park to the walking spot is hidden amongst an array of trees, and although it doesn't look like much from the car park, it's huge once you get walking - a bit like a Tardis.Situated in a picturesque river valley, this 54 hectare walking spot offers plenty of character and a peaceful retreat.
It's a perfect spot for dogs who like woodland walks and open spaces to run around in, but just be wary of the muddy water, particularly if you've got a white dog like mine! The one thing I love about this place is the fact that no matter how busy it is, it doesn't feel like its busy. Perfect for families and couples, the nature reserve is a must do for nature lovers. Its received plenty of five star reviews on Trip Advisor and it's very easy to see why.
