The cost of college has “steadily” increased over the years, according to a new report. Hence, student loan debt continues to rise for borrowers in the U.S.
It’s no secret millions of borrowers are stressed about debt and repayment. Currently, in the U.S., student loan payments are paused until the end of August unless the U.S. Department of Education is able to proceed with President Joe Biden’s plan to forgive up to $20,000 per borrower by June 30. His plan has been blocked by legal challenges.
