North Texas municipalities ranked in the bottom 50% of the U.S. cities evaluated in LawnStarter's study.

Johnson Stadium in Garland will become a drive-through COVID-19 testing location later this week, thanks to the Centers for Disease Control and the Texas Department of Health and Human Services.McKinney was ranked the highest among North Texas cities, coming in at 129.

Irving and Frisco fared slightly worse, ranking Nos. 131 and 136, respectively. Frisco did stand out in one category, though, coming in at No. 3 for the safety indicator. Other North Texas suburbs also did poorly: Plano came in at No. 151, followed by Grand Prairie at 155 and Arlington at 161. Dallas and Fort Worth, the largest two cities in the region, came in at Nos. 152 and 160, respectively.
