Jessi Cruickshank kicked off Season 2 of her Facebook Watch showwith none other than Justin Trudeau. The 15-minute interview touched on everything from his viral air kiss with Melania Trump to the repeated brownface incidents from his past that recently surfaced in the news.
Cruickshank then brought in a group of children who had their own questions for the Prime Minister, including a pair of six-year-old twin sisters who asked: “Why did you paint your face brown?” Trudeau looked taken aback, and then answered: “It was something I shouldn’t have done, because it hurt people. It’s not something that you should do, and that is something that I learnt. I didn’t know back then but I know it now. And I’m sorry I hurt people.
