Here’s a summer activity that’s good for kids and adults alike | Opinion
Opportunities to play are growing as fast as new games can be created, and not only for kids. Bars, restaurants, game shops, bookstores and libraries are organizing game nights. With Texas weather turning outdoor activities into a heat-stroke-roll-of-the-dice, these events provide a great alternative to the scrolling and streaming that seem to have a Monopoly on our free time.
We think there’s more to The Game of Life than can be found on a screen, so we support this turn of events. If a summer activity can foster greater connection, education and enjoyment, we say, “Checkmate!”
