The on-loan Middlesbrough stopper has impressed since replacing Trevor Carson between the sticks in Paisley.
Zach Hemming has thanked St Mirren goalkeeping coach Jamie Langfield for helping him fall in love with football again.
And as he continues to impress in the role, the Englishman paid tribute to Langfield and Buddies boss Stephen Robinson for handing the stopper a new lease of life at the SMiSA. Hemming said: “I was just doing my job, to be honest! I’m happy to play in a stadium like Celtic’s and make some decent saves and keep the lads in it right to the end.
“We stayed in the game for so long. After the first goal we closed off a bit and maybe didn’t play as well as we did in the first ten minutes.
