Heartfelt message from north Manchester rapper Aitch after winning first Brit Award
Rapper Aitch spoke from the heart as the north Manchester musician picked up his first Brit Award. The 23-year-old, from Moston, picked up the prize for British Hip Hop/Grime/Rap Act at last night's glittering ceremony.
"Not many people where I’m from, especially my side of Manchester get the opportunity to receive such an amazing award. Thank you all, my fans are the best." The message echoed Aitch's speech at last night's Brit Awards, where he reflected on being an inspiration for others across the country. He told the crowd: "I think that's the main reason I do it for, to set examples and to make people know that it's possible no matter where you're from."
