Eddie Hearn reiterates that he’d have ‘no choice’ but to make Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury if AJ wins this weekend

Hearn was quizzed by Gareth A Davies on talkSPORT about the negotiations and doubled down on his point. Asked if he’s going to push for the fight, Hearn said: “Yeah, I’ve had conversations with George Warren over the last couple of days. What we said to each other was that we had the basis of an agreement last October.“Actually, if AJ wins on Saturday and Tyson doesn’t have a fight scheduled and doesn’t have a mandatory, why shouldn’t we reopen those discussions?
“I think we’d have to do that quietly as both fighters are probably tired of the public spats and negotiations, but at the same time, it comes down to the public.“If Joshua goes in and destroys Jermaine Franklin in style I think we’d have no choice but to make that fight. Finally it would be a fight that is there to be made and at the right time.
