'I see him grab him (her boyfriend) by the shirt, and swing him to the ground,' one victim said. 'The other jumped in the backseat.'
"When I turned to the backseat, it was just right there," she said."I was looking right at the barrel."
She said the suspects took their wallets, keys, and a cellphone before taking off in the couple's black Chevy Tahoe and left the stolen pickup truck on the scene. The woman said one of the suspect's tried to drive off in their pick-up but struck her boyfriend's feet, and the pick-up lost control and got stuck in a ditch.
"The other guy rolled down the window in my Tahoe and said leave it there. We don't need it. We have this one now. That's why I think they planned to get away with two of them," she said."He has fractures to his face and right eye," the victim said."He has four to five stitches in the back of his head, and his feet are swollen from the vehicle's impact as far as the truck and the valuables, which is replaceable. We are fine for the most part.
A spokesperson for the Harris County Sheriff's Office said they have not recovered the Tahoe, but they are trying to get fingerprints from the pick-up left at the scene.
