Lavish restaurant Hawksmoor will be offering guests a huge deal on steak and chips in a nod to striking rail staff.
As rail workers prepare to strike again in August and September, Hawksmoor has decided to once again "grab the cow by the horns" and offer diners £15 steak and chips in an attempt to alleviate any potential financial worries, specifically geared towards rail workers whose pay will be affected in the strikes.In an email to customers, the chain said: "As news stories go, ‘steak restaurants sell steak and chips for less money’ didn’t seem revolutionary.
