Warwick Davis, known for playing the Charms professor Filius Flitwick in the Harry Potter series, paid tribute to his wife Samantha after she died at 53 after a battle with sepsis
Harry Potter star Warwick Davis' wife, Samantha, has died age 53 after a battle with sepsis. In a statement about his wife, Warwick confirmed Samantha passed away on Sunday 24 March.
He added: "he was a unique character, always seeing the sunny side of life she had a wicked sense of humour and always laughed at my bad jokes." Harrison and Annabelle, joined Warwick in paying tribute, saying "her love and happiness carried us through our whole lives. Mum is our best friend and we're honoured to have received a love like hers."
Samantha had a bone growth disorder called achondroplasia and Warwick revealed that in recent years his wife's mobility had become impaired, but she was "determined that it would not impact her quality of life".
