Shaun Wane has made twelve changes to the squad that got England to the World Cup semi-final last year.
Harry Newman has been included in Shaun Wane's 24-man squad for England's Test series with Tonga. The Leeds Rhinos centre is among some of the notable selections in the squad, with some notable names not included.
It's a vastly different squad to the one Wane named 12 months ago for the Rugby League World Cup. Only 12 members of last year's squad have been included once again. George Williams could yet be withdrawn if his second appeal against a ban isn't overturned, with the England captain currently only available for one match. He has been named in the squad but will be replaced if the appeal fails.
“I’m really pleased with the 24 players coming into camp as we look to beat Tonga in this three-game series," Wane said. "All of the players included have impressed me throughout their respective Super League and NRL campaigns and are worthy of representing their country in this historic series.
