The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have said they hope the Princess of Wales is able to heal 'privately' following the shock news that she has been diagnosed with cancer
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have lent their support to Kate Middleton following the news that she has been diagnosed with cancer."We wish health and healing for Kate and the family, and hope they are able to do so privately and in peace," Harry and Meghan, said in a statement.
However, tests after the operation revealed "cancer had been present" and the Princess of Wales will now undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy. Speaking in a video, which was shared on Friday, 22 March, Kate asked for privacy as she processes the news and to protect her children. "It is a very sensitive matter, but Harry wants his family to know he is ready to step in and be of support. It's a tough time for them all with King Charles' cancer diagnosis but Harry is keen, now, more than ever to start moving forward and to rebuild damaged relationships.
