An investigation is underway after a deadly deputy-involved shooting on Thursday evening.

A man with a gun was shot and killed by Harris County deputies on Thursday night, according to the sheriff’s office.The incident occurred around 9 p.m. in the 15400 block of Sellers Road.SUGGESTED: Houston Food Bank looking for donations as flooding impacts communityAccording to HCSO, deputies had responded to a Discharge of a Firearms call and were met by a witness who identified 27-year-old Osbaldo Aguinaga as the person with the gun.

The sheriff’s office says the deputies then saw Aguinaga point the weapon at the witness, and the deputies ordered him to drop the weapon.
