Waldron is best known for circulating among Trump allies a PowerPoint presentation full of explosive proposals for overturning the 2020 election. Among the ideas was for Trump to declare a national security emergency to delay certification of the results and seize ballots. Ramsland, meanwhile, spent years cultivating unfounded theories of the widespread manipulation of voting machines, later used to underpin Trump’s false election fraud claims, The Washington Post. He used his company, Allied Security Operations Group, for a “quixotic attempt to find evidence of widespread fraud where none existed,” operating out of a retrofitted airplane hangar in Dallas County, according to the Post.
