The Manchester music icon swapped maracas for tiffin boxes as he hand-delivered Zouk's new lunchtime offer
He might be best known as the man with the maracas and the de facto mascot of the Salford group, but today he went full pedal to the metal to help his favourite Manchester restaurant launch their new lunchtime delivery service.
"Zouk is a great restaurant which does brilliant food. They've come up with this rikshaw idea to improve delivery services and I've had a go and I can tell you it's an incredible bit of kit, so high tech. "Delivering it this way, not only do you get a full belly but you save the planet as the same time cause there's no polystyrene waste or all the usual stuff like aluminium, and it keeps it nice and warm," adds Bez.
As in Mumbai, at the end of the day , Zouk’s e-trike will collect the finished tiffins, where they’ll be returned to Zouk to be washed, ready for use again the next day.
