Hairy Bikers' fans become emotional as they watched Dave Myers' final ever episode with co-star Si King, which aired on Tuesday.
Dave was receiving chemotherapy throughout filming for the 650 mile road trip down the West coast and as the trip drew to a close in Devon and Dorset, he poignantly remarked: 'Who knows what the future holds but for the moment, I’m living in the present, and it’s pretty fine.''And the two of us back together, doing what we do best.
As the pair explored the chef's vineyard, Dave gushed: 'You know this is such a special trip for the pair of us. Sitting down for a meal at the gorgeous restaurant, Dave looks full of happiness as he indulges in the delicious food with his best friend. 'We've been on the road now for nearly 20 years you know from the Baltic to Africa we've always found something good and also the comradery and friendship around the table.'
