The Hairy Bikers are known and loved for their warming, tasty meals - as well as their likeable personalities. And at this time of year it's no surprise they've cooked up something that's delicious, simple to make and perfect for the cooler evenings.
Their sausage tray bake ticks about every box you could wish for and doesn't come with a list of complicated ingredients that you have to have shipped from thousands of miles away, The Express reports. The description on their website for the recipe reads: “Serve the Hairy Bikers' easy sausage traybake with a big pile of wintery greens, such as Savoy cabbage.
As well as only requiring one tray the recipe takes just an hour to throw together, meaning you could just about cook it for tea after a day at work Ingredients Method Start by chopping the squash and onion into even-sized wedges, then arrange them in a roasting tin with the chicken thighs , and the sausages.
Season with salt and pepper then sprinkle over the thyme and drizzle over one tablespoon of the oil. Mix the red wine with 100ml of water and pour this into the tin, then roast for 30 minutes. The dish is best when cooked in a preheated oven set to 220C/200C Fan/Gas mark seven.
