Habakkuk Baldonado: I wouldn’t say I experienced culture shock. It was very different though. It’s the little things you notice. The signs on the road are very different. The portions of food are much larger . The people and language are very different. I grew up in Italy so Italian is my first language.
I approached every single day trying to get better. It was baby steps in the beginning. I get better at things really fast because I’m willing to work hard . Coming back into 2022, everyone expected me to take a step forward. I obviously expected the same. Everything was going great up until I started dealing with a little nagging injury that turned into something bigger. I was ready to have a great season.
Habakkuk Baldonado: I have a broad arsenal. I have a lot of different tools on my toolbelt. It’s funny because when I went to the East-West Shrine Bowl, one of the other defensive linemen in attendance came up to me and complimented my arsenal . He said he didn’t know I had so many moves at my disposal.
