The remains of 44-year-old Dariusz Michalowski, from Huddersfield, were not found until 2020.
Three men have been found guilty for their roles in a man's murder and the disposal of his body 12 years ago.At Leeds Crown Court on Tuesday, Adam Tolwinski and Ernest Weber were found guilty of killing 44-year-old Mr Michalowski, preventing a lawful burial and perverting the course of justice.
Mr Michalowski, a former Polish police officer and father of one, was last seen at his house in Macaulay Road, Huddersfield, on 13 March 2011.GoogleMr Michalowski's body was found buried in woodland near Mixenden reservoir in Halifax in 2020, who worked alongside Mr Michalowski at a garage, led police to his grave.
Mr Szudy was not accused of killing Mr Michalowski but admitted helping to dispose of his body and was granted immunity from prosecution in return for giving evidence at the three men's trial.
