Holy Cross played in both city championships, coming up short in girls play but winning the boys city title
The Holy Cross Crusader boys team took the Premiere Division city championship with a 79-66 triumph over the Walter Murray Marauders on Saturday. The games were the first 5A basketball city championships that had been played since 2019. The 2020 city championships were cancelled due to COVID-19 with teams on the verge of playing in the final game. COVID-19 wiped out the entire 2021 season.

The Falcon boys took the Championship Division title with a 78-66 victory over Bedford Road on Tuesday.
HOOPLA provincial championships will be played from March 24 to 26 in Regina with schools from 1A up to 5A competing for titles.
