Temperatures will become slightly cooler this week
Weather conditions are likely to be more unsettled this week after a sunny weekend, according to Met Office forecasters.
On Sunday our region enjoyed wall-to-wall sunshine and warm weather, with temperatures reaching up to 24C in the city centre. But from today , temperatures will be become slightly cooler with more unsettled conditions forecast throughout the week. Met Office forecasters predict today will be largely cloudy with some sunny intervals in the late afternoon. The mercury will reach a high of around 19C.Tuesday is set to be another largely cloudy day. There may be some light showers in the morning in our region.
It will feel cooler with an average temperature of around 17C forecast during the afternoon. On Wednesday, heavy rain showers could fall in the afternoon amid some cloudy and sunny patches. On the overall outlook for the North West from Wednesday to Friday, Met Office forecasters said: "Further showers through this period with bright or sunny spells at times.Read more of today's top stories here
