A live-action TV spinoff based on Grease is in the works
1978 musical is in the works, WarnerMedia-backed streamer HBO Max has handed out a straight-to-series order for musical The TV series will be produced by Paramount Television, the studio behind Fox's Emmy-winning 2016 one-off .
