Grayscale argued against the U.S Securities and Exchange Commission in court – after the regulator’s denial of converting Grayscale Bitcoin Trust to an ETF.
“I was and our entire team was encouraged by the way oral arguments transpired, so we remain hopeful that the courts will be ruling in our favor. ”
“It really comes down to consistency,” said Sonnenshein in response to a question on Bloomberg Markets about what gives him confidence that Grayscale will win the lawsuit. “So yesterday’s oral arguments were really a continuation of this best in class legal team that we’ve put together […] and the arguments have remained the same. They were the same when we filed the ETF application, when we had to file our lawsuit, and now with these oral arguments.
Sonnenshein said in the interview with Bloomberg that converting GBTC to an ETF is the number one priority for the firm.
