Grantchester star Tom Brittney undergoes major transformation following show exit

The actor couldn't look more different to Reverend Will Davenport

for the series back in August, couldn't look more different from his character Reverend Will Davenport in a new post to Instagram that shows the 32-year-old rocking a beard, whilst donning a Vans cap and Thrasher T-shirt.

Whilst Tom's caption didn't give anything away about his new project, fans were quick to question whether the Kent-born actor is turning his hand to directing. One person asked: "" while another wrote: "What are you directing Tom?"
