Dak Prescott was wildly inconsistent, but finished 19 of 25 for 207 yards with a touchdown. CeeDee Lamb caught four passes for 70 yards and the team’s only completion of 20 yards or more.The Lions had 117 yards rushing and Jamaal Williams was pretty effective with 79 yards on 15 carries. DeMarcus Lawrence was good against the run, especially early when the Lions’ offense was moving effectively.Trevon Diggs and Jourdan Lewis made sensational interceptions, and they sacked Jared Goff five times.
Play-caller Kellen Moore did a good job attacking with the run in the second half, which allowed Dallas to finally seize control of the game. The play-action touchdown to Peyton Hendershot in the fourth quarter made up for the earlier reverse to CeeDee Lamb. Dan Quinn’s unit held Detroit without a touchdown and forced five second-half turnovers.The offense remains clunky and Prescott was inconsistent, which should really be no surprise considering he missed the last five games.
