A former Gogglebox star has shared the "bizarre" reason she and her family were reportedly axed from the Channel 4 show.
The 26-year-old claims producers told them they were "pausing filming" but would come back to include the family in the next series. But Chantelle said they never returned.She told The Sun: “They told us they 'didn’t have enough cameras to film us', so we thought they were going to come back and restart filming in the next season. But that didn't happen. There was silence for a while and we didn’t know what was going on for months. Then they dropped us, which was a shock.
She added: “People were shocked when we were dropped, even now they ask us when we are going back on." She added: “It was a good experience but I wish it could have been for longer. If I was asked to go on Gogglebox again I would do it.” One viewers said at the time: “Nice to see new families taking part." Another commented: “Liking the two new families tonight."
