George Gilbey - best known for his hilarious appearance on Channel 4's Gogglebox - has sadly died at the age of 40 and tributes have poured in online from his friends
Celebrity Big Brother and Gogglebox star George Gilbey has sadly passed away today . Tributes have poured in online for the star who was described as "one in a million."
Former Geordie Shore star Ricci Guarnaccio also tweeted his sadness about losing his "brother". He wrote: "Breaks my but @georgegilbey you are well and truly going to be missed my friend. A spokesperson for Gogglebox said: George was part of the Gogglebox family for eight series alongside his mum Linda and step-dad Pete. Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Linda, and George’s family and friends at this very sad time. The family have asked for privacy.”
Then in 2016, George, Linda and Pete then returned to the Gogglebox couch. However, in 2021 the family were dealt a huge blow when Pete suddenly passed away.
