Scotland is seeing a spike in cases after reporting the highest amount of infections since April.
Covid restrictions seem to be a thing of the past in Scotland but while sub-variants of Omicron become the dominant strain, some experts are urging people not to panic.
However, others have expressed their concern that the new sub-variants are proving to be more contagious and hitting people who would have built up an immunity to covid through previous infection and being vaccinated. In Glasgow City, as of June 24, there have been 1,778 seven day positive cases, and 279.7 cases per 100,000 population.
