A total of £150,000 will be spent on the leafy areas following the approval of £85,000 last week at a meeting.
Auchinlea Park has landed a share of £85,000 for improvements including a path from the Fort shopping centre and fencing for historic Provan Hall.
The area between Inishail Road, the M8 and Avenue End Road is the site of the first recorded grassland water vole in Glasgow, which are a protected species. Explaining more about the work, which is due to be finished in September, SNP councillor Kenny McLean said: "Both projects contribute to the creation of a more connected green network and deliver green space improvement in areas of significant multiple deprivation."
