A 20-year-old man is said to be in a 'serious' condition following the assault.
Police have cordoned off part of a street in Glasgow after an attack which left one man in hospital with 'serious injuries'.
Two men were reportedly assaulted outside Sanctuary nightclub, on Dumbarton Road, at around 1.45am on Sunday, January 1.READ MORE: Glasgow branded 'pothole city' as raging business owner finds 30 on single street A second man, aged 20, was also injured, and later released from hospital following treatment. According to a passer-by, officers were still at the scene at around 9.30am this morning.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 20-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious injuries, where his condition is described as being serious but stable.“Enquiries are ongoing and police are encouraging anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the incident to contact them via 101 quoting incident 0648 of 1 January, 2023.
