Emergency services scrambled to the incident on Duke Street, at Parkhead Cross, at around 6.45pm. Images sent to GlasgowLive showed a car that had hit a wall on the street. We previously reported how a number of roads were closed following the incident in the east end of the city. The driver of the Nissan was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment. The nature of their condition remains unknown.
