The incident took place on the evening of September 23.
A Glasgow based homeless charity reported an incident over the weekend, when one of their volunteers had their car vandalised with dog dirt while they worked at the soup kitchen.
He then quickly left the scene, after he had defaced the car of a 72-year-old volunteer at the project.Homeless Project Scotland posted an update to their Facebook account, writing: “One of our volunteers' cars was attacked with dog dirt this evening while the soup kitchen was serving our most vulnerable, there was a man putting dog dirt over the car of one of our workers - shocking.
Colin McInnes, chairman and co-founder of Homeless Project Scotland, told Glasgow Live: “We were serving over 1000 hot meals to 200 homeless and vulnerable people at the time of the attack on the car. “If people intimidate and scare volunteers, then they won’t come back and if they don’t come back we have no one to serve food to our most vulnerable. We’ve seen a rise in verbal attacks to volunteers, alongside an increase in the numbers of people using our service.
