The table notes that 89 per cent of Jordanhill's pupils secured five or more Highers in 2023. This is the 'gold standard' of high school achievement according to the Government.
A Glasgow school has been named the best in Scotland for the seventh year running according to the newest The Times and Sunday Times Scotland High School League Table.
The school is independently governed and is funded by the Scottish Government instead of being funded by the council who exert more influence over where money can be spent, reports the Record. It is run by a board of managers made up of seven parents and three staff members, selected by other parents and staff. It also has professional advisers alongside the board and a rector, who runs the school day-to-day.
