Police rushed to the Premier store on Quarrywood Avenue in the Barmulloch area of the city at around 9pm after two gangs clashed, leaving four people injured

Staff working in a Glasgow shop were left "scared for their lives" after a group of youths had a massive rammy outside their door on bonfire night as celebrations culminated in a violent outburst.

One young man, who had his top off and was holding a bottle of Buckfast in one hand, was seen punching a boy on the ground. Footage taken from another CCTV camera, around the side of the shop, showed more punches being thrown as police could be seen chasing a number of youngsters. "Hundreds attend and with that many people in attendance and no police presence there was always going to be chaos. At around 8.30pm you could feel the tension between everyone outside our store, with fireworks beginning to be fired into large crowds, and slowly towards our store.
