Things are set to turn chilly with a 'beast' storm on the way
After a period of mild temperatures, things are set to a big chilly, with weather becoming more unsettled as January progresses.
It follows days of wet weather, with Glasgow and the west issued a yellow weather warning for rain in recent days amid ongoing flooding issues across the city. The massive low-pressure vortex will see temperatures drop, with sub-zero temperatures forecast for the upcoming weekend and into the following week, reports The Daily Star.The Met Office forecast states weather will be 'changeable' with wintry showers becoming heavy at times on Saturday over higher grounds.
