Lows Butchers in the Govan area of the city is to pull the shutters down for the last time on Saturday, March 30, as owner Philip thanked their loyal customers for their support over the last four decades.
A Glasgow butcher is to close later this month after the owner announced he is to retire after 39 years.
The shop has now been put up for sale/let as the current occupants hope to find someone who can take over and continue to serve the community. "The shop is up for sale/for let in the hope that someone else can take it over to continue to serve the community so if anyone is interested please do get in touch.
