Ridge Point will face an unbeaten squad in Region II champion Wylie East at 9:30 a.m. Friday in the 6A semifinals at Birkelbach Field. Meanwhile, Wylie East shut out Bridgeland 2-0 to clinch its first state tournament appearance since winning the whole thing in 2014-15. The Raiders, unbeaten District 9-6A champs, are riding a 28-game win streak and have outscored their foes 157-5.
